Printing of The Great Wave off Kanagawa
The Great Wave off Kanagawa, often known as The Great Wave, is a woodblock print by Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai from the series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. The image shows a massive wave threatening three fishing boats off the coast of Kanagawa, with Mount Fuji rising in the distance.
