Every HeyGears UltraPrint resin runs in this tank — standard modeling (PAS10, PARP10), engineering (PAU11, PAH10), and crucially the water-washable PAWW10 / PAWW20 family that the pulsing tank can’t handle. If your resin rotation includes water-washable, this is the only Reflex 2 tank that fits.
Unlike the Pulsing Release Resin Tank (which requires the $799 PRM 2 module to function), this tank works directly with the Reflex 2’s built-in standard release mechanism. Cheaper entry point for hobby and prototyping workflows that don’t need engineering-resin compatibility.
The tank lifts in and out of the build chamber by hand. Standard release film mounting that’s common across the Reflex 2 line. Great for shops keeping multiple tanks staged for parallel resin workflows — especially when one of those resins is water-washable.

How is this different from the Pulsing Release Resin Tank?
Standard release vs pulsing release. This tank works with the printer’s built-in release mechanism — no module required. The Pulsing Release Tank ($239) requires the $799 PRM 2 module and unlocks engineering resins (PAH270, PAU20, PAC10, PAE10) but cannot run water-washable PAWW10/PAWW20.
Can I run water-washable resin in this tank?
Yes — PAWW10 and PAWW20 are designed for standard release operation, which is exactly what this tank provides. This is the only Reflex 2 tank option for water-washable workflows; the pulsing tank physically can’t handle them.
Will it fit my original Reflex or Reflex RS?
No. This tank is dimensioned for the Reflex 2 generation chamber. Original Reflex uses the Resin Tank ($107); Reflex RS / RS Turbo uses the RS Resin Tank ($95).
When should I replace the tank vs just the film?
Replace just the film ($95 for 2-pack) when surface artifacts trace to film fatigue but the tank shell is clean. Replace the whole tank when the shell has resin-burn discoloration, the optical window has interior scratches, or the film mounting has slipped.
