4th Generation Dual Extruder System

260°C + 420°C Nozzle Temperature.
One Machine. All Materials.

The F430's 4th generation dual extruder pairs a 260°C standard hotend with a 420°C martensite steel high-temperature hotend — covering the complete FDM material spectrum in a single machine. CreatBot was first to market with 420°C desktop printing in 2016. The F430 is the production-proven result.
Nozzle Temperature Up To 420°C

Martensite Steel Right Extruder.
Replaceable. Dual Material.

The left 260°C hotend prints PLA, ABS, PC, Nylon, Carbon Fiber, TPU, PVA soluble support, and all standard filaments. The right 420°C martensite steel hotend unlocks engineering-grade nylon (PA, PA-CF, PA-GF), polycarbonate, ASA, PVDF, and open-source high-temperature filaments that require extreme extrusion temperatures.

Both hotends are field-replaceable — enabling material-specific configurations without purchasing a different machine. The dual hotend provides more possibilities for every application.

CreatBot does not officially qualify the F430 for PEEK or PEI ULTEM production — the 70°C chamber is below the 90–130°C typically required for proper interlayer bonding on those materials. Customers do successfully run open-source high-temp filaments. For production PEEK / PEI ULTEM, the dedicated PEEK-250 (200°C chamber, 480°C nozzle) is the qualified machine.

CreatBot F430 vs Bambu Lab X1-Carbon vs Raise3D Pro3

How the CreatBot F430 Compares to the
Bambu X1-Carbon and Raise3D Pro3.

The Bambu Lab X1-Carbon and Raise3D Pro3 are the two most common alternatives evaluated at this price point. The Bambu wins on speed and price. The Raise3D wins on IDEX. The F430 is the only machine in this comparison with both a 420°C-capable hotend and an actively heated 70°C chamber — opening up engineering-grade nylon, carbon-fiber composites, PC, ASA, PVDF, and open-source high-temperature filaments that the others cannot reach.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked — CreatBot F430.

What engineering materials can the F430 print reliably?
The F430 is validated for PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, PC, TPU, PA (Nylon), PA-CF (carbon-fiber nylon), PET-CF, PVDF, and open-source high-temperature filaments. The 420°C martensite steel hotend handles the full spectrum from flexible TPU to rigid PC-CF. The 70°C active heated chamber and HEPA filtration make it safe for continuous office or lab use on all supported materials.
Does the F430 support dual-material printing and soluble supports?
Yes. The F430 has a dual extruder — one standard 260°C hotend and one 420°C high-temperature hotend — which enables dual-material printing and soluble support strategies. Rev1 can advise on compatible support materials based on your primary print material. Soluble supports dramatically reduce post-processing time on complex geometries with internal channels or overhangs.
Does the F430 officially support PEEK and PEI ULTEM?
Not officially. CreatBot qualifies the F430 for engineering-grade nylon (PA, PA-CF, PA-GF), polycarbonate, ASA, PVDF, carbon-fiber composites, and the standard filament set — all of which it handles well. The 420°C right hotend reaches the temperatures used for PEEK and PEI ULTEM, and customers do successfully run open-source high-temp filaments on the F430, but the 70°C chamber is below the 90–130°C typically needed for proper interlayer bonding on production PEEK or ULTEM. For qualified PEEK / PEI ULTEM production work, the dedicated CreatBot PEEK-250 (200°C chamber, 480°C nozzle, DAS annealing) is the right machine. Rev1 will help you pick the platform that matches your actual material and throughput requirements before you buy.
What is the difference between the F430 and the F430 NX?
The F430 NX is the next-generation upgrade. Key improvements include an IDEX (Independent Dual EXtrusion) system enabling copy, mirror, and backup print modes; a higher chamber temperature; improved high-precision machined components for higher speed and accuracy; 5-inch touchscreen; and on-board camera for remote monitoring. The standard F430 remains the more cost-effective option for teams that need 420°C dual material printing without IDEX. Rev1 stocks both — contact us for a side-by-side comparison for your workflow.
How does the F430 compare to the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon?
The Bambu X1-Carbon is faster and significantly cheaper at ~$1,499. It is excellent for PLA, PETG, ABS, and PA-CF at high speed. However, the Bambu tops out at 300°C nozzle temperature and lacks an actively heated chamber — limiting it to standard polymers. The F430 is the correct choice when your material requirements exceed what a 300°C nozzle can reach (engineering nylon, PA-CF, PA-GF, PC, ASA, PVDF, open-source high-temp filaments) or when you need the 70°C active chamber for large warp-prone ABS, nylon, or carbon-fiber parts. For production PEEK or PEI ULTEM specifically, neither the Bambu nor the F430 is the right machine — that's the dedicated PEEK-250. Rev1 will tell you honestly which machine fits your application.
Is the F430 safe to run in an office or classroom?
Yes — the integrated HEPA filtration captures ultrafine particles and VOCs from ABS, nylon, and PC printing, making it safe for offices, schools, and shared labs without additional exhaust ventilation. The fully enclosed chamber also contains noise and fumes within the machine. For high-temperature engineering polymer work generating additional thermal byproducts, Rev1 recommends confirming room ventilation with your facilities team.
What is the Ulendo VC upgrade?
The Ulendo VC (Vibration Compensation) upgrade is a software-only enhancement developed by Rev1 Technologies in partnership with Ulendo that enables the F430 to print up to 5× faster than standard settings without quality degradation. It requires no hardware modifications. Rev1 offers a $500 discount for 2024–2025 F430 customers. Contact Rev1 with your serial number to verify compatibility before ordering.
What ongoing maintenance does the F430 require?
Primary maintenance: nozzle replacement when printing abrasive filaments (hardened nozzles available from Rev1), HEPA filter replacement every 200–400 hours of ABS/nylon operation, PEI sheet replacement when adhesion degrades, and periodic linear rail lubrication. BLTouch auto-leveling eliminates manual bed tramming as a routine task. Rev1 provides ongoing support at (248) 707-2950.
