Bambu Lab
H2S
More Build.
More Speed.
The Bambu Lab H2S is the largest-volume enclosed CoreXY printer in the H series — 340×320×340 mm, 120% larger than the X1C. A single-nozzle toolhead with the DynaSense PMSM servo (10 kg, 20 kHz), speeds up to 1,000 mm/s, built-in filament cutter, 350 °C nozzles, 65 °C actively heated chamber, and up to 24 filaments with parallel AMS units.
Bambu Lab H2S — Your Personal Manufacturing Hub.
Most Build Volume. Most Speed. Clean Engineering Stack.
340 mm Tall. Use the Whole Plate.
120% Larger Than the X1C. One Print Instead of Five.
The H2S build envelope is 340×320×340 mm — 120% larger than the X1C by volume. That extra Z height changes what you can print in a single run: a helmet liner that fits in one piece, a desk cable manager that covers a full-depth desk surface, a cosplay sword without visible seams. What previously required cutting a model into five pieces, printing each separately, then gluing them together can become one overnight job.
The bed heats uniformly across the full 320×340 mm surface. The flexible PEI build plate releases parts cleanly after cooling — no adhesive sprays, no bed separators, no warped corners on large-footprint parts.
Faster Output. Quieter Operation.
30% Faster Than the X1C, Under 50 dB
With top speed at 1,000 mm/s and acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s², the H2S prints typical jobs approximately 30% faster than the X1C. On a batch of identical parts, that difference compounds across every run — finishing the sixth iteration where the X1C is still on the fifth.
Active Motor Noise Canceling keeps operational noise below 50 dB — quieter than many open-frame printers at 200 mm/s. The H2S can run overnight in an office environment without disrupting the room. The built-in filament cutter handles AMS material changes faster than systems without cutters by eliminating the long purge tail on the outgoing strand.
Print the Whole Part, Not Half of It.
The H2S doesn’t split its attention between hotend racks or dual toolheads — every mm of its 340×320×340 mm envelope is available for a focused single-nozzle job. Some things just need more Z. The H2S gives it to you at a price no toolchanger can match.
DynaSense Servo + Built-in Filament Cutter.
Closed-Loop Force. Built-in Cut. Real-Time Error Detection.
The DynaSense PMSM servo extruder delivers 10 kg of extrusion force — 67% more than a typical stepper — with position and resistance sampled at 20 kHz. That loop is what catches clogs and grinding jams before they become failed layers. With the optional Vision Encoder plate, motion accuracy drops below 50 μm across the full 340×320 mm bed.
The built-in filament cutter on the H2S goes beyond what most AMS printers offer: it cuts the outgoing filament tail cleanly before every material change, reducing the blob risk at the transition point and producing visibly cleaner color-change seams than systems that just retract. On jobs with frequent color changes across a large bed, that quality difference is consistent across the whole print.
65 °C Chamber, 350 °C Nozzle, Three-Mode Airflow.
Full Engineering Stack on the Largest Desktop Bed
The H2S runs the same thermal envelope as the H2D and H2C — 350 °C nozzle, 65 °C actively heated chamber — with three-mode adaptive airflow: sealed high-temp mode for PA and PC, vented low-temp mode for PLA and PETG, and dedicated laser exhaust mode when the laser module is installed. The chamber maintains temperature from first layer to last, not just at the bottom of a tall print.
The H2S also includes AMS HT compatibility for storing moisture-sensitive filaments at up to 55 °C. On a 340 mm tall PA-CF print running 8 hours overnight, moisture-controlled storage means the last layer prints as cleanly as the first. The UL94 V-0 enclosure and three-layer filtration make it viable for engineering materials in shared spaces.
23 Sensors, 3 Cameras, AI Error Detection.
Catch the Problem Before It Ruins the Run
The H2S ships with 23 sensors monitoring the filament path, extruder, and chamber — plus three cameras (AI nozzle, overhead, and tool camera). Before every print, a pre-flight checklist verifies bed adhesion, filament loading, and nozzle state. During the print, a neural algorithm watches for spaghetti, air-printing, nozzle clumping, and clogged poop chutes using the nozzle AI camera feed.
With the Laser Full Combo, the Bird’s Eye 8 MP camera adds Live Spatial Alignment for laser jobs — it reads the actual bed surface to position laser cuts relative to what’s already printed, even on warped or repositioned material. When something drifts mid-print on an 8-hour job, Bambu Handy shows you the alert before the whole run is lost.
Cloud, LAN-Only, or Air-Gapped — Your Call.
Security-Sensitive Workflows Supported
The H2S runs in three network modes: cloud-connected for remote monitoring from Bambu Handy, LAN-only for shared-workspace deployments, or fully offline for air-gapped or security-sensitive environments. Files transfer by USB stick, firmware updates install locally, and the machine operates normally without a cloud connection.
Developer Mode opens an MQTT port for third-party integrations. The H2S is cybersecurity-compliant with EU RED Article 3.3(d)(e) and ETSI EN 303 645 V2.1.1:2020 for regulated deployments. The 5-inch touchscreen handles all local controls without any cloud dependency.

Common Questions About the H2S.
How is the H2S different from the H2D and H2C?+
All three share the enclosed CoreXY platform, 350 °C nozzles, and 65 °C heated chamber. The H2S is a single-nozzle machine with the largest build volume — 340×320×340 mm — and the lowest price in the H series. The H2D has a dual-nozzle toolhead for dedicated support material capability. The H2C adds the Vortek hotend-swap rack for near-zero purge on multi-color prints. If maximum build volume and speed at the best price is the priority, the H2S is the answer.
What is the build volume of the H2S?+
340×320×340 mm — the largest in the Bambu H series and 120% larger than the X1C by volume. The 340 mm Z height is what enables full-size helmet liners, speaker housings, and large props in a single print without splitting and bonding.
How fast is the H2S?+
The H2S reaches 1,000 mm/s with acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s². Bambu rates it approximately 30% faster than the X1C on typical jobs. Active Motor Noise Canceling keeps it below 50 dB — quieter than many open-frame printers running much slower speeds.
What materials can the H2S print?+
The 350 °C nozzle and 65 °C actively heated chamber support PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, BVOH, ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PET, and PPS, plus carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced variants. The built-in filament cutter produces cleaner material transitions than systems without one.
Does the H2S support laser cutting? Is 40W available?+
The H2S Laser Full Combo ships with a 10W 455 nm blue laser. The H2S does not support the 40W laser module — that is available on the H2D and H2C only. The 10W module cuts up to 5 mm plywood and engraves at 400 mm/s. If you require 40W laser capability, the H2D Laser Full Combo or H2C Laser Full Combo is the right path.
How many colors can the H2S print?+
Up to 24 filaments via stacked AMS units (up to 4× AMS 2 Pro + 8× AMS HT = 24 slots). RFID-tagged spools auto-register material profiles. The built-in filament cutter produces cleaner transitions than AMS systems without cutters.
What is the DynaSense extruder?+
DynaSense is Bambu Lab’s PMSM servo extruder delivering 10 kg of extrusion force — 67% more than a stepper — with 20 kHz position and resistance sampling. The H2S also has a built-in filament cutter that clips the outgoing filament tail on every AMS material change for cleaner transitions.
